I have been doing ecommerce shop builds for over 10 years with the main aim of simplifying online sales both for store owners and customers.

What ecommerce platforms do you use?

The main two ecommerce store platforms I work with are WooCommerce and Shopify. But I also have experience in Magento and custom ecommerce platforms.

I have worked with a wide array of e-commerce website platforms over the years and I always find that Shopify and WooCommerce offer the best solutions for my clients.

Shopify offers a fully maintained service, so I can assist in getting it set up with all the styles and functionality you need. Then I can hand over the website and you can just come back for ad-hoc work as and when you need it.

WooCommerce offers a more flexible ecommerce platform but it is self-hosted, so I charge additionally for hosting and maintenance plans.

What areas do you cover for ecommerce builds?

I have helped numerous businesses around the Dorset area, including Bournemouth, Ringwood, and Poole. I have also built and remotely maintain many online stores for London-based businesses. Working remotely allows me to work with customers anywhere in the world but f you require regular face-to-face consultations it is worth bearing in mind that I am based in Bournemouth, although able to travel.

How much do you charge for an ecommerce website?

This is of course subjective to the scale and complexity of the online store. It also depends if you need any additional services like copywriting, SEO, ecommerce photography, or video.

As a guide, the lowest end of my ecommerce builds starts at £1200 + VAT for smaller start ups. I also offer a barebones build service from £249 + VAT. For anyone looking to improve on an existing online store, I offer SEO and marketing audit services as well as remote Shopify and WordPress support sessions.
